Evriholder, A. Aronson Enter Into Licensing Deal
Jan 28, 2010
Evriholder Products, LLC and A. Aronson, Inc. have come to an
agreement that will enable Evriholder to begin offering licensed
housewares products through A. Aronson's extensive licensing
agreements.
The current A. Aronson business lines will join Evriholder with A.
Aronson president Bruce Aronson and Phebe Aronson leading the
license division, in which they will continue to increase the
existing base, develop new products and secure new licenses. Bruce
Aronson will head up the sales initiatives for the licensing
division. And, since A. Aronson and Evriholder sell to many of the
same customers, the expansion of product offerings from one source
is strategic, powerful and significant to the companies themselves,
to customers and the market, according to the two companies.
From thermal containers to tableware to kitchen gadgets and small
appliances carrying the imprint of such heritage brands as
Campbell’s, Crayola, Kellogg's and Wonder. A. Aronson has
understood the importance to consumers for instant name
recognition, the importance of consumers' brand loyalty wedded to
creative designs, and useful housewares products.
The Aronson licensed brands for houseware gadgets and food storage
containers, that will now be part of and available from Evriholder
include Campbell's, Crayola, Eggo, Hostess, Kellogg’s, Meow Mix,
Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, Pop Tarts, Prego, SpaghettiOs and
Wonder.
Evriholder's impulse products, which are in the kitchen and
barware, storage and organization, cleaning, and bath and personal
care categories, include Slipper Genie, Fuzzy Wuzzy Microfiber
Mitt, AvoSaver, Magic Holder and Sandwich Crust Cutters.
According to Bruce Aronson: "Both companies are in the business of
creating exciting, fun, and unique items. A. Aronson has done it
with licensed products and Evriholder under its own brand. Now the
two can act in concert offering the most comprehensive lineup of
unique impulse items to retail. This is a very powerful fit."
"Our combined product development teams are already hard at work on
new and exciting licensed products to introduce to retail over the
next several years," said Phebe Aronson, who will oversee product
development for the new licensed products division. "This is a
win-win for retailers and consumers."
"We have tremendous respect for what they've achieved in retail and
we are committed to putting the creative product development and
sales resources we have behind the newly created licensing division
to grow it into a licensed product powerhouse," noted Evriholder
CEO Gary Seehoff.
For over 30 years, New York-based A. Aronson has been the leading
independent supplier of food storage products and kitchen
accessories sold under license from America’s most recognized name
brands.
Anaheim, Calif.-based Evriholder designs, develops and manufactures
products for the kitchen, cleaning, storage & organization, and
bath & personal care categories.

Progressive Grocer's 2009 Produce Operations Review
Against a trying backdrop of persistently weak economic conditions, fierce competition and financially wary shoppers, supermarket produce departments faced much harsher headwinds during the past 12- month period than they have in recent years, as evidenced by marginal comparable-sales gains and a tentative outlook for the balance of the year, according to results of Progressive Grocer's 2009 Annual Produce Operations Review.
