Weis Markets continues to refine its senior management staff with the recent appointments of Regina Tator and Greg Oldright as its new directors of center store sales, and Bruno Garisto as its new director of private brands.

In her new post, Tator will oversee the day-to-day merchandising, sales programs and promotions for dairy, frozen and all DSD categories. She recently joined the Sunbury, Pa.-based grocer from Price Chopper, where she was director of corporate brands.

Oldright, meanwhile, most recently was sales manager for Weis Markets and previously worked as its category manager for specialty and ethnic foods. In his new role, Oldright will oversee the day-to-day merchandising, sales programs and promotions of all distribution center categories and specialty foods. Earlier in his career, he worked as director of grocery for Boulder, Colo.-based Sunflower Farmer’s Markets.

As Weis Markets’ new director of private brands, Garisto will oversee the company’s product development and sales and marketing for all center store, HBC and perishable private brand products. He joined Weis Markets five years ago and previously worked as director of center store sales and merchandising. During his career, he has worked for Giant Food Stores, Ahold Indonesia, Ahold USA, Daymon Worldwide and Hillandale Farms.

Weis Markets, which will mark its 98th year of operation in May, currently operates 164 stores in its home state of Pennsylvania as well as in Maryland, New York, New Jersey and West Virginia.
