Dan Feehily is now part of the sales team at Associated Grocers of New England, in the role of retail merchandising specialist. “Dan comes to AG New England with over 30 years of retail supermarket experience,” said retail accounts manager Paul Greenan, adding that in the newly created position, Feehily would “coordinate grocery, frozen and dairy merchandising projects; remodels; new store setups; and customer conversions.”

Feehily worked for the Jackson Star/Omni Foods group from 1984 to 2009 in a range of management positions, the most recent of which was as a store manager in Meredith, N.H. Before that, he was with the Star Market Co. from 1977 to1984.

Reporting to Greenan, Feehily will work closely with store design and equipment sales manager Steve Picarillo.

Pembroke, N.H.-based AG New England, owned entirely by independent retail grocers as members of a cooperative and the largest retailer-owned, wholesale grocery distribution center in New England, serves over 500 independent retail food stores in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and the upstate New York/Albany area.
